My approach to User Design can be summarized in two words: Force Simplicity. This was a company value I took away from my time at Expedia Group, one which particularly resonated with me during my interface development work there. Though I had always valued simplicity when coding--particularly on the backend--the motto took on new meaning for me when applied to the front end. It transformed my approach to user design, my key question becoming: "Could my grandma use this interface?" My process is iterative, and has included feedback methods such as A/B testing, eye-tracking experiemnts, and user-testing studies, and are always backed by statistical methods. In essence, I aim to produce designs that are simple and intuitive.
